Volunteers from our local BANDAM group members and associates are wanted to help us with our contribution to this charitable event which is organised by North Devon Hospice.
For those who have never been to this meeting, BANDAM sets up a number of driving test areas, where the participants drive, mostly backwards, around a tricky but quite possible course.
We need help early on the day ( from around 8.30am onwards ) with setting up a couple of hundred traffic cones to mark out the course before the start at 9.00am.
Then from this time until about 5.00pm we need folk watching to see if the drivers hit cones, timing the runs and guiding test participants safely to and from the borrowed cars.
Members who cannot spare the whole day will be welcome to help out for a shorter period.
