This a thorough test of driving skills which lasts about 90 minutes and covers a wide variety of roads, from the fast open thoroughfares and country lanes to the congested streets in towns.

You will be expected to show that you can concentrate and handle your vehicle capably, sympathetically and exhibit courteous, responsible driving behaviour.

The Examiner will be a holder of the Police Advanced Driving Certificate and, as such, is an expert judge of your abilities and conduct.

The Advanced Driving Test is conducted locally.
